MS. DONDRA CLARK MAY LIVE in Henry County, but her heart resides in Clayton County.

“I absolutely adore Clayton County and the people who live and work here. I love the diversity, the potential and the perseverance of this community,” she states. Dondra is Vice President and Branch Manager at Heritage Bank, downtown Jonesboro Branch and has been in the banking industry for twenty years and Heritage Bank for eight. Not only does she serve in the community as banker extraordinaire but she is also an active Rotarian with the Clayton County Lake Spivey Rotary Club, serves on both Rainbow House and the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce boards and is on the Lee Street Elementary School Council.

Dondra says that she is inspired by her values, her family, music, and witnessing human kindness. “God inspires me because I owe Him everything, my daughter is an inspiration for me to be the best version of myself at all times and my daddy inspires me because he is my role model, he represents everything good that I see about this world”, she adds.

“let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.”- Mother Theresa

The best of the best of Dondra is the fact that she loves, respects, and accepts people as they are without judgment. However, she warns, “Watch out!” because she is “fiercely loyal” and does not approve of those who spread negativity and hurt people in general. Ms. Clark professes that she finds joy in making people happy, building people up, and constantly letting people know that they matter. “I am at best when I am with my family,” she explains, “My family is my life!”

According to Dondra, her greatest accomplishment was becoming a mother. She explains that having her daughter taught her “to love beyond words”. It taught her selflessness and that there is absolutely nothing she wouldn’t do for someone else. She confesses that having her daughter, “the love of [her] life”, defines her purpose.

You are most likely to see Ms. Clark with an infectious smile brightening her face because her favorite quote is that of Mother Teresa: “let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.”

When the Heritage Bank Vice President is not running around working, serving in Clayton County, spreading positivity, and tending to mom duties, she is taking the time to enjoy music of all genres, including Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crows, Indigo Girls, Prince, Marvin Gaye, BB King, Tribe Called Quest, Jonny Lang, Parliament Funkadelic, Fleetwood Mac, and more. In her free time, you might find her at a concert, hanging out with family, or at the airport ready to travel!
